In the 1970’s, Van Harten was involved with the initial development of what we all know now as the Old Quebec Street Mall. Van Harten was more recently involved with the inclusion of the adjoining Sleeman Centre arena that is home to the Guelph Storm hockey club. At this time, Van Harten prepared a detailed plan presenting stratified ownership separating the city-owned arena from the privately-owned shopping mall.
Van Harten completed a topographic survey of the ice rink to ensure a level surface for our Guelph Storm Junior A hockey club!
